Maintaining and managing the day to day office operations of the support office
Operating the switchboard, answering calls and directing them to the correct person
Welcoming visitors in a professional manner and ensuring they feel welcome
Testing lines and reporting faults
Updating telephone directories for all business units and communicating this to the larger business
Purchasing sundries for the support office and all retail stores
Managing the calendars of meeting rooms for the whole of support office and ensuring that meeting rooms are set up accordingly for either training or formal meetings.
Management/supervision of the support office general worker
Various other office administrative duties as and when reasonably required
Relevant office administrative experience
Confident and polite telephone manners
Ability to work under pressure
Highly accurate and organised
Good standard of spoken and written English
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to deal with difficult calls in a calm professional manner
Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with all levels within the organization
An awareness of and ability to maintain confidentiality
A strong follow up culture and people relations
Ability to contribute and add creative suggestions for improving the work place
